Saba Z. Naqvi received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2002. She is licensed in the State of California and the Province of British Columbia. Ms. Naqvi heads the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization practice for Embarkation Law Group. Ms. Naqvi also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Toronto, Trinity College. While in law school, Ms. Naqvi gained courtroom and litigation experience through summer internships. She was a certified summer intern at the Los Angeles, County District Attorney’s Office in Santa Monica. She also worked as a summer intern at Dependency Court Legal Services (DCLS), a non-profit organization that represents children who are victims of abuse and neglect. After graduating law school, Ms. Naqvi was employed at a civil litigation law firm in Los Angeles, focusing on complex environmental law cases. Currently, Ms. Naqvi, a dual citizen of the United States and Canada is focusing her practice in the area of immigration and naturalization law. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the American Bar Association (ABA), and the Canadian Bar Association (CBA). |
